Implant-Supported Overdentures & Hybrids

Types of Implant-Supported Overdentures:

The Locator Overdenture uses 3-4 implants (per arch) equipped with locator attachments, which serve as “buttons.” The denture is then snapped securely in place – and snaps out easily for cleaning. These dentures have excellent retention.

The Hader Bar Overdenture features a custom-made metal bar that is screwed on over several implants (typically 4). The denture then attaches to the bar and can be snapped in and out. This implant-supported overdenture also has excellent retention.

The Hybrid Overdenture is a non-removable, screwed-in prosthesis that is permanently secured to 5-6 implants per arch. The advantage of this denture is that it does not cover the palate, making it feel more like natural teeth. The teeth can be made from reinforced acrylic, porcelain, or zirconia.
